Organizational Development and Management

Functions:

  • Creating, reviewing, and updating organizational structure charts for Line Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Commissions.

  • Determining appropriate staffing levels across Line Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Commissions by managing the creation, abolition, conversion, regrading, freezing, and unfreezing of posts, while ensuring compliance with budgetary allocations.

  • Producing, maintaining, and regularly updating Detailed Establishment Tables (DETs) for Line Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Commissions.

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive job grade schedules.

  • Designing, reviewing, and updating job descriptions for Line Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Commissions.

  • Establishing and managing a centralized Job Description data bank for Line Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Commissions.

  • Conducting job evaluation exercises for the entire Public Service.
