
2024 has been like no other, with various provinces such as Matabeleland South, Bulawayo and Harare all being treated to a one of kind experience that ensures the promotion of their physical, mental and social wellbeing being.
A partnership between the Zimbabwe National Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (ZNBWCB) and the Fitness and Against Drug Abuse and Cancer Awareness Campaign has brought about a unique phenomenal experience that uses combat sport disciplines such as boxing to promote fitness and wellness while at the same time fighting drug abuse and cancer.

The campaign has been pulling a huge number of followers and has left a lasting impact on the people. The first Campaign took place in Harare at the Avondale Shopping Centre, which drew massive crowds. The first female Boxer in Zimbabwe, Monalisa ‘Queen of the Jungle’ Sibanda was also present at the event.
The second and third campaigns were in Bulawayo and Victoria Falls respectively and they both were a success.
Speaking to Lycan White from Fitness and Against Drug Abuse and Cancer Awareness Campaign in an interview, he reviewed that the goal of the campaign is to promote unity of purpose and encourage a healthy lifestyle free from drug abuse= and cancer.
“We’re not in competition; we’re united in our mission to combat drug abuse and cancer. Let’s work together, support each other, and harness our collective energy to drive positive change.”, said White
